About Matt Hobbs
Matt Hobbs is a songwriter and composer based in Atlanta, GA. Matt is also a resident musician at Dad’s Garage Theatre Company where he plays music for improv shows, composes songs for scripted productions, and works as musical director for musicals.
Since moving to Atlanta in 2010, Matt has played many stages around Atlanta – including leading the house band for “Dad’s Garage and Friends” at the Fox Theatre, performing original arrangements to accompany Dad’s Garage’s “It’s a Wonderful Laugh” at the Alliance Theatre Hertz Stage, working as musical director for the world premiere of “King of Pops: the Post-Apocalyptic Musical,” and rocking out with Atlanta indie-folk band Jesse and the Great Perhaps at Inman Park Festival.
